Conformance
dungeonlogs targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA across all shipped surfaces. Where naturally achievable (text contrast, structure, keyboard navigation) we exceed to AAA. Conformance is a continuous discipline: a regression in our automated a11y test gates the PR.
Supported assistive technologies
- VoiceOver on macOS (Safari, Chrome) and iOS (Safari).
- NVDA on Windows (Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
- JAWS on Windows (Chrome, Edge).
- TalkBack on Android (Chrome).
- Full keyboard navigation — every action reachable without a pointer; command palette (⌘K / Ctrl-K) for fast navigation.
-
Respects
prefers-reduced-motion: animations, transitions, and auto-advance behaviours collapse to instant state changes when the OS preference is set. - Text zoom to 200% without information loss; layouts hold and tabular content scrolls horizontally rather than truncating.
Known issues
- Maps view (Phase 2) — the canvas view ships alongside a fully screen-readable list-alternative of pins, regions, and routes. The list-alternative is the structural answer for non-visual access; the canvas is a complement, not a replacement.
- Belief layer presentation — Phase 2 deep work refines screen-reader announcements for held-as-fact contradictions.
